The certification recognizes Nam Long Group's fulfillment of international standards for training, developing, and maintaining the professional competence of its finance and accounting team. The ACCA Approved Employer program assesses and acknowledges organizations with structured, transparent, and sustainable financial personnel training systems. Specifically, the Professional Development category focuses on how businesses enable ACCA members to maintain and enhance their professional competence through continuous professional development (CPD) programs, linked to clear career paths and ethical professional standards.
Over 8,100 businesses globally currently hold the Approved Employer certification. In Vietnam, ACCA has granted this certification to more than 60 enterprises, primarily in banking, finance, auditing, multinational corporations, and large companies in the technology and real estate sectors.

To achieve recognition in this category, a business must demonstrate policies and processes that support its finance personnel in meeting ACCA's annual CPD requirements. The business also facilitates staff in identifying development needs and participating in training activities relevant to their job roles. Furthermore, it maintains a mechanism for regular dialogue between management and staff regarding learning effectiveness, knowledge application, and ethical standards in practice. ACCA also requires businesses to have an information system on career development opportunities, along with a commitment to uphold these criteria throughout the periodic assessment cycle.
Speaking at the event, Lucas Loh, chief executive officer of Nam Long Group, stated that being recognized as an "ACCA Approved Employer" reflects the company's long-term organizational development approach. He noted that while real estate often considers land as the most important asset, Nam Long views people as the factor that creates sustainable value.
"Land value can increase, project value can increase, but people create value exponentially. For us, human resources are our greatest asset", Lucas Loh said.

He emphasized that a sustainable development strategy is not only about environmental standards or the ESG framework, but fundamentally about the competence, ethics, and succession of the workforce. "Without strong people, no strategy can endure", he stressed.
According to Nam Long's leadership, the role of the finance and accounting team is increasingly important as the group expands its integrated urban developments, strengthens cooperation with international partners and investors, and enhances its corporate governance framework. Finance personnel record data, safeguard trust, manage capital flows, and participate in strategic decision-making processes.
Becoming an ACCA Approved Employer, according to the group's representative, affirms three strategic directions: systematic professional competence development; adherence to global standards in the context of international integration; and viewing learning as a lifelong commitment.
"We see this as the starting point for a deeper investment in structured training, building clear career paths for our team, to cultivate future leadership", he said.
