NCB honored as 'fastest growing corporate bank in Vietnam'

NCB has been recognized by global banking & finance review as the 'fastest growing corporate bank in Vietnam 2026,' attributed to its product innovation and expansion within the corporate client segment.

This new award category, dedicated to the corporate banking segment, is part of Global Banking and Finance Review's (GBAF) annual awards system. According to the organizing body, the award is evaluated based on criteria including business efficiency, product and service development capabilities, and market expansion capacity.

According to GBAF, NCB has made a significant mark in the corporate client segment due to its strong growth in client base, product and service portfolio, and business efficiency following 5 years of comprehensive transformation.

In recent years, NCB has consistently strengthened its financial capacity, invested in technology, and developed an ecosystem of solutions specifically for businesses. After completing 4 capital increases in 5 consecutive years, the bank has enhanced its financial capacity, meeting the demands of large-scale corporations, businesses, and national key projects.

At the same time, the bank developed the CORP360 digital banking platform – an integrated ecosystem of financial solutions ranging from credit, trade finance, supply chain finance, and guarantees to cash flow management and international payments. This application helps businesses connect with the bank and partners on a single platform, thereby optimizing operations and enhancing management efficiency.

According to an NCB representative, the development strategy focusing on ecosystem clients, leading businesses or those operating in supply chains, combined with flexible operational capabilities and a strong emphasis on applying technology to enhance customer experience, has yielded impressive results, contributing to elevating NCB's position and influence in the market.

Building on its enhanced capabilities, NCB has expanded its operations, prioritizing partnerships with leading businesses, companies within supply chains, contractors involved in national key projects, and enterprises in the construction, infrastructure, tourism, and aviation sectors.

To date, NCB has implemented supply chain financing for over 180 businesses with trillions of VND in credit, and provided capital for 70 large-scale projects across the country. In 2026 alone, the bank participated in financing and arranging capital for several national key infrastructure projects, including: a convention and exhibition center, a theater, a park, and infrastructure serving APEC; the Ben Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi cultural park project and public greenery along the Saigon river; and the City Center Square and Administrative Center of TP HCM.

Additionally, NCB also supports digital transformation in various economic sectors through digitized financial solutions, contributing to enhancing business competitiveness, stimulating consumption, developing tourism, and increasing the efficiency of economic connectivity.

A bank representative stated that the award is a recognition by international organizations of NCB's capabilities, while also providing motivation for the bank to accelerate its pace for a new development phase, accompanying the nation's era of growth.

Global Banking and Finance Review (GBAF) is an international financial magazine based in the United Kingdom, boasting over 12.2 million visits annually and 100,000 readers in more than 200 countries and territories. GBAF's annual awards system is considered one of the most prestigious in the global finance and banking sector.
