Sabeco receives 'best companies to work for in Asia' award

HR Asia Awards 2026 honored Sabeco as one of the "best companies to work for in Asia," recognizing its human resource development strategy and positive work environment in Vietnam.

Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Sabeco) received the "best companies to work for in Asia" title at the HR Asia Awards 2026 ceremony on the evening of 9/7. Organized annually by HR Asia magazine, the HR Asia Awards celebrate companies with robust human resource management strategies.

According to a company representative, this year's award recognizes Sabeco's efforts in fostering a positive workplace, investing in staff development, and strengthening employee engagement.

This recognition stems from Sabeco's people-centric investment strategy, implemented through its "WARM" model (Willing - Able - Ready - Motivated). This management model focuses on four key areas: building a team committed to corporate culture (Willing), continuously enhancing professional capabilities (Able), preparing a successor workforce (Ready), and motivating each individual for long-term growth with the organization (Motivated).

Tran Kim Nga, a member of the Board of Directors, stated that the HR Asia Awards is a testament to the collective strength of nearly 8,000 Sabeco employees across 36 factories and member companies nationwide. She expressed hope that the company's team will continue to uphold core values to elevate the business to an international level.

In 2025, Sabeco successfully implemented 224 training programs with 19,102 participations, equivalent to 71,025 training hours across the system. The company also developed a Future Leaders program to build a successor leadership team. An internal survey in 2025 recorded employee engagement at 98%.

For the 2026-2030 period, the company aims to build a more diverse and inclusive work environment. The business plans to increase the presence of women in management positions and raise awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) among its management team.

Concurrently, Sabeco will continue to invest in training and development programs to foster a culture of learning and employee engagement. This forms the foundation for the company to develop a workforce capable of adapting to new growth strategies.

Building on a strong corporate culture, Sabeco will continue to develop its human resources, nurture a learning culture, and build a work environment where each individual has the opportunity to utilize their capabilities, remain engaged, and develop long-term.

The HR Asia Awards - Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026, organized annually by HR Asia magazine, aims to honor companies with outstanding HR policies, attractive benefits, and a leading work environment in the region.

This year, the program featured the theme "People First Always," conveying the message that amidst the widespread wave of artificial intelligence, technology is merely a tool, while people remain the central and key driving force of long-term growth.
