According to its Q2/2026 financial report, NCB achieved an after-tax profit of over 510,7 billion VND, a 64% increase year-on-year and nearly 136% higher than Q1. Net interest income reached almost 1,033 billion VND, up 36%, while profit from service activities was over 72 billion VND, a 4% rise. This represents the highest quarterly profit in the bank's operational history. An NCB representative stated that the business results for the first half of the year are the culmination of 5 years of consistent implementation of its restructuring plan and comprehensive transformation strategy, aimed at sustainable development.

For the cumulative first six months of the year, NCB recorded an after-tax profit of over 726,7 billion VND, a 57% increase compared to the same period in 2025. As per the plan approved by the General Shareholders' Meeting, all profits will be utilized to follow the roadmap of the Restructuring Plan (PACCL), aiming for its early completion and sustainable development.
As of 30/6, NCB's total assets reached nearly 199 trillion VND, up 21,5% compared to the end of 2025 and exceeding its full-year target by 5%. Customer loans amounted to over 133,5 trillion VND, an increase of nearly 36 trillion VND in six months.
Customer deposits, including demand deposits and issued valuable papers, exceeded 150 trillion VND, up nearly 14% compared to the end of the previous year. Current account savings accounts (CASA) reached almost 11,9 trillion VND, a 9% increase. According to NCB, the non-performing loan ratio and structure continue to improve, reflecting the quality of its credit portfolio and the effectiveness of debt resolution under the restructuring plan.

Over the past 5 years, the bank has increased its charter capital four times, raising its capital scale to 29,280 billion VND, achieving this goal three years ahead of the restructuring plan's schedule. This pace makes NCB the fastest-growing bank in terms of charter capital across the entire industry.
Alongside strengthening its financial capacity, NCB's operational and governance capabilities have also been enhanced with the leadership and management of experienced senior personnel.

Building on its financial and governance strengths, and bolstered by technological capabilities, NCB has gradually established its position in sectors driving the economy. In the corporate segment, the bank provides supply chain finance for over 180 businesses, with credit facilities worth trillions of VND, and has funded 70 large-scale projects nationwide. In 2026 alone, the bank has participated in financing and arranging capital for several national key infrastructure projects, including: a convention and exhibition center, a theater, parks, and infrastructure for APEC; the Ben Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi Cultural Park project and public green spaces along the Saigon River; and the Central City Square and Administrative Center projects in Ho Chi Minh City.
Additionally, NCB supports digital transformation across various economic sectors through digitized financial solutions. This contributes to enhancing business competitiveness, boosting consumption, developing tourism, and increasing the economic connectivity.
According to the bank's representative, the strengthened financial, governance, and technological foundations are the basis for NCB to enter a new growth phase during the 2026-2030 period, while continuing to meet its restructuring plan objectives.
