Founded in 1994 in South Korea, Nexon is a prominent player in the online game industry. Over three decades, the group has launched over 80 titles across 190 countries, achieving over 1 billion downloads and consistently ranking among the top 10 highest-revenue game companies globally.
Popular games such as MapleStory, Dungeon Fighter, KartRider, Dave the Diver, and Blue Archive have solidified Nexon's international presence. According to a company representative, Vietnam has emerged in recent years as a strategic hub for technical development, artistic creation, and quality assurance—three crucial pillars in the global game production chain.
Building on this, Nexon Vina is expanding its operations in TP HCM, aiming to exceed 1,000 employees. This strategy involves three key member companies: Nexon Dev Vina, which handles software development, programming, and online game operations; Nexon Creative Studio Vina, responsible for character, environment, and art design for international projects; and Nexon Networks Vina, which conducts game testing to ensure a smooth player experience. This expansion underscores Nexon's long-term investment and its vision to establish Vietnam as a leading technology and game content creation hub in the region.
