OneCompass expands US transportation network

The Koleaseco acquisition expands Hyway Transportation's midwest presence.

OneCompass Holdings, an employee-owned investment firm, has acquired the assets of Koleaseco, a Michigan-based trucking company with over 30 years of experience.

Koliaseco will operate as part of Hyway Trucking, a division of Hyway Transportation, a OneCompass portfolio company. This acquisition expands Hyway's network and service capabilities in the Midwest and surrounding markets.

"I'm excited for Koleaseco's next chapter with OneCompass and Hyway Transportation," said J.P. Koop, owner of Koleaseco. Koleaseco has always been built on strong values and respect for people—qualities shared by Hyway and OneCompass. "I'm confident this transition will create new opportunities for our team while upholding Koleaseco's legacy of service and integrity," he added.

This is OneCompass' fifth acquisition since its founding in 2024. Matt Hartman, President and CEO of OneCompass, stated, "We are thrilled to welcome Koleaseco's team and customers to the OneCompass family and the Hyway Transportation platform. Koliaseco has a long-standing legacy of operational efficiency, customer dedication, and a culture that aligns with our values. They will be a valuable addition to the Hyway network and will help advance our national growth vision."

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2023, OneCompass Holdings is a US-based, employee-owned investment firm. The company acquires and develops transportation and logistics businesses, aiming to build a national network.

Koliaseco, based in Hudsonville, Michigan, has over 30 years of experience in asset-based trucking. The company is known for its strong corporate culture, valuing its employees and commitment to service quality.
