The award was part of the Vietnam Trust Program 2025, organized by Vietnam Economic Magazine (VnEconomy) on 18/12 in Hanoi. This annual program evaluates products and services based on quality, transparency, and their positive impact on the environment and society.
According to Sacombank, the award acknowledges its efforts in developing financial solutions linked to green and responsible consumption, aligning with sustainable development goals. Launched in October, the product is structured as a comprehensive financial ecosystem. Its services connect financial activities with environmental responsibility, encouraging customers to adopt sustainable consumption habits in their daily lives.

The package integrates various offerings: green deposits, Visa O2 credit cards, health insurance, and preferential loan programs for eco-friendly sectors. A key differentiating feature is its mechanism for recognizing and converting green value from customer transactions through the Green Living Fund. All bonus rewards accumulated by customers using products within the package are channeled into this fund.
The fund's resources are used to convert into carbon credits or contribute to environmental projects such as reforestation, renewable energy development, and energy conservation. Thus, each financial transaction not only manages personal spending but also contributes to emission reduction, promoting environmental protection and sustainable living.
A Sacombank representative stated that the Green Finance Package is not merely a standalone product but a long-term development strategy. Through this solution package, the bank aims to support customers in transitioning to responsible consumption and spreading awareness of sustainable development within the community. Its selection among the top 10 green and sustainable products and services of 2025 underscores the bank's commitment to an ESG-oriented development strategy, contributing to Vietnam's green growth and sustainable economic development goals.
