Saigon Marina IFC hosts multi-sensory new year's eve

The four sides of the 55-story Saigon Marina IFC tower simultaneously lit up, combined with an artistic fireworks display to welcome the new year on the night of 31/12.

Saigon Marina International Financial Centre (Saigon Marina IFC) organized its first large-scale light and international music show for new year's eve in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). The event, held on 31/12, was designed as a multi-sensory festival, integrating architecture, light, music, and artistic performances, marking a significant urban celebration.

A highlight of the celebration was an artistic fireworks display launched from the 55th floor of the tower, at an approximate height of 400 meters. The LED Matrix system, covering all four facades of the building, transformed the architectural structure into a "vertical stage." Dynamic light effects narrated the historical development of the Ba Son area, illustrating its journey from a historic port and shipyard to its current status as a modern financial and commercial hub. The plaza in front of the tower featured a water show with jets reaching 30 meters high, synchronized with a sophisticated sound system and hundreds of lighting points, creating an immersive experience.

Beyond the visual spectacle, the program included music performances tailored to each segment of the event, enhancing the multi-sensory journey. A representative from the organizing unit stated that this countdown celebration represents a new approach to urban festival organization in HCMC. It combines artistic performance, technology, and local identity, paving the way for future large-scale cultural and tourism activities in the city, offering residents and visitors a unique way to engage with urban spaces.

Saigon Marina IFC is strategically located in the Ba Son area, a historically significant region linked to the formation and development of Saigon for over a century. The project, which became operational in 8/2025, is a core component of the HCMC International Financial Center. Saigon Marina IFC aims to be a central hub connecting financial, economic, and creative activities, thereby contributing to shaping the new development landscape of the central city and fostering innovation.
