The new service combines Schneider's transportation assets with rail partners, establishing fast and stable shipping routes across the US and Mexico. It is designed to meet the growing demand for quick, on-time deliveries, particularly for time-sensitive cargo.
"Reliability is fundamental to our operations," stated Jim Filter, executive vice president and president of group transportation and logistics at Schneider. "Fast track provides shippers with peace of mind through superior speed and consistency, supported by professional drivers and a robust, company-owned asset network nationwide."

The fast track service has already demonstrated significant improvements, reducing transit times by up to two days compared to competitors on key routes in the US and Mexico. It also maintains an on-time delivery rate of 95% or higher. Beyond speed, the service aims to reduce costs, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure cargo safety. In 2024, Schneider reported a 99,99% no-theft rate across its operations in the US and Mexico.
Currently, fast track specifically handles automotive freight from Mexico to Kansas City and Chicago. Schneider plans to expand the service to additional routes soon, further addressing the increasing need for expedited and punctual shipping solutions.
Michael Baumgardt, senior vice president and intermodal operations general manager, emphasized: "Fast track is designed for maximum precision. This solution meets the needs of customers who cannot tolerate delays, providing speed, control, and reliability every mile of the way."
Schneider National stands as a leading transportation and logistics company in the US. It offers diverse shipping solutions, including truckload, intermodal, and integrated logistics services. The company is recognized for its extensive operational network, professional team of drivers, and unwavering commitment to ensuring the speed, reliability, and safety of every shipment.
