Leaders of EastBridge Partners shared this information during a meeting with FLC founder Trinh Van Quyet on 3/3 in Hanoi. EastBridge Partners is an independent private equity fund headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
The fund currently manages 8 investment funds totaling 1.5 billion USD across 24 businesses in various sectors, including technology, healthcare, retail, and consumer goods. In Vietnam, the South Korean entity previously invested in the digital entertainment platform POPS Worldwide and medical equipment company USM Healthcare.
Kevin Lim, Chairman of EastBridge Partners, stated his readiness to explore strategic investment opportunities and establish a long-term partnership with FLC. Additionally, the fund could connect FLC and Bamboo Airways with international partners, including financial institutions and aircraft leasing and purchasing companies, to support Bamboo Airways' fleet expansion.
According to the Chairman of EastBridge Partners, the fund is actively seeking investment opportunities in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam identified as a key market. "Compared to other countries in the region, Vietnam still has significant room for development, particularly in the aviation sector where the number of airlines remains limited," Kevin Lim said.

Huong Tran Kieu Dung, FLC Permanent Vice Chairman, highlighted South Korea as an important market for the group, citing extensive past cooperation with South Korean businesses. Previously, Bamboo Airways operated direct flights from Hanoi and Da Nang to Incheon airport, along with numerous charter flights to South Korea. At FLC's resort complexes, South Korean tourists account for over 50% of their total international visitors each year.
In late January, former FLC Chairman Trinh Van Quyet reappeared after nearly 4 years, attending a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Youngsam. FLC is scheduled to organize an investment and tourism roadshow in South Korea in 4/2026.
