Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) expanded its fleet to 13 aircraft with the landing of an Airbus A321neo, bearing registration VN-A921, at Noi Bai International Airport on 13/7. Following the completion of reception procedures, the aircraft is scheduled to commence commercial operations from 14/7.
This Airbus A321neo is the first aircraft to feature the airline's new brand identity. According to the airline's plans, this design will be progressively applied to all new aircraft joining the fleet in the coming period.

The new livery retains the distinctive sunflower emblem on the aircraft's tail, while the brand name on the fuselage has been shortened from "Sun PhuQuoc" to the three letters "SPA", an abbreviation of Sun PhuQuoc Airways. According to airline representatives, this change aims to establish a unified brand identity as the airline expands its operations in regional and international markets.
A key feature of the new design is the stylized letter "A", inspired by an upward-pointing sunflower petal. The airline states that this detail draws inspiration from the rotational movement of an aircraft engine, symbolizing a spirit of innovation and a forward-looking development direction.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways emphasizes that the three letters "SPA" also align with the "Resort in the Sky" (resort in the sky) experience model that the airline is pursuing. The new design seeks to convey a sense of relaxation and positive energy throughout the journey.
Airline representatives further noted that the new brand identity not only changes the appearance of the aircraft but also reflects the airline's brand-building strategy in this new development phase.

Since its first commercial flight on 1/11/2025, SPA has steadily expanded its flight network, with Phu Quoc serving as its central hub. In addition to existing routes to Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok, the airline plans to further develop operations in the markets of Malaysia, Japan, India, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
Alongside its network expansion, the airline is standardizing the "Resort in the Sky" model across its entire fleet. Elements such as cabin fragrance, cabin design, seating, wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, meal services, and service style are all being developed to a consistent standard.

By the end of this year, all narrow-body aircraft in the fleet are scheduled to complete Business Class cabin upgrades. The airline also anticipates introducing Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft into service from 9/2026, aiming to synchronize the service experience across its entire flight network.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways confirmed that the new brand identity will be gradually implemented on its existing fleet and will feature on new aircraft as the fleet and international route network expand. This initiative is a step towards realizing the airline's goal of becoming an international five-star airline, while also contributing to establishing Phu Quoc as a new aviation and tourism hub in the region.
