Recent trends show increased interest in gifts imbued with feng shui significance and experiential value. According to Deloitte's 2024 Holiday Retail Survey, the global trend is shifting towards emotional and story-rich gifts. In Vietnam, specialty food gifts dominate retail sales, with Tet-themed collections emerging as prominent choices for the year-end festivities.

Following this trend, Tai Thong has unveiled its "Ma Dao Khai Xuan" collection for Binh Ngo Tet 2026, leveraging the horse imagery that symbolizes prosperous beginnings and the Eastern cultural wish of "ma dao thanh cong" (successful return). The collection features four gift box designs, all using modern feng shui and artistic language to narrate a story of new beginnings and fortune at the start of the year.
According to a Tai Thong representative, the Ma Dao gift box is the flagship design. It combines a warhorse image with a cascading waterfall, symbolizing a powerful surge of energy into the new year. In feng shui, horses symbolize breakthroughs, while water elements signify wealth, prosperity, and balance. The gift box conveys wishes for a smooth start and success in all endeavors.
The Phon Vinh gift box exudes warmth, positioned as a symbol of abundance, prosperity, and happiness.
The Khai Hoan box features a striking golden celestial horse, feng shui stones, and falling golden coins. This blend of the five elements, from multi-colored gemstones to wealth symbols, signifies attracting fortune, harvesting achievements, and continuous glory.
The Khai Xuan box evokes a spring garden, with emerald green hues and parrots representing the wood element, wisdom, and growth. The design serves as a wish for good fortune, wealth, and new energy for Binh Ngo Tet.

Alongside the feng shui significance of each gift box, Tai Thong continues to pursue modern Tet gift trends, combining imported products with Vietnamese specialties. Tai Thong's culinary offerings blend Vietnamese ingredients with international flavors. These include: cakes, candies, Twice tea (with a modern East Asian spirit), Coffee Everbean, Everland nutritional nuts, Golden Nest bird's nest, and Viet Essence specialties, creating diverse Tet gift options for various preferences.
Beyond "Ma Dao Khai Xuan," Tai Thong also invests in individual Tet season products. For example, Golden Delight pineapple cakes are a prominent product, known for their harmonious sweet and sour taste and soft, fragrant crust. They were popular during previous festive seasons and remain a highlight for Tet 2026. Viet Essence specialties offer regional flavors, creating a cultural imprint and deeper experience.

A highlight of Tai Thong's Tet season this year is its unique gift sets, structured with a "one box – multiple generations" philosophy. These sets include: easily enjoyable candies for children, premium tea and cakes for adults, and bird's nest and nutritious foods for the elderly. This combination offers practicality while reflecting the company's philosophy of family-bonding Tet gifts.
According to a brand representative, the philosophy "Tet gifts are not just for giving, but also for enjoying" has been a core value Tai Thong pursued for many years. From flavor and design to cultural narratives, each gift is crafted to be a complete experience, helping recipients subtly and meaningfully feel the Tet atmosphere.
