Techcombank partners with Bach Mai Hospital to build healthcare financial ecosystem

Techcombank and Bach Mai Hospital signed a partnership agreement for the 2026-2030 period, focusing on digital transformation, financial management, payments, and developing utilities for patients and medical staff.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two entities took place on 12/8. The MOU outlines four key areas of focus.

First, Techcombank and Bach Mai Hospital will drive digital transformation in hospital operations. The two parties will collaborate on researching and implementing solutions to digitize payment processes, cash flow management, and internal financial services. They will enhance cashless payments, simplifying procedures, improving management efficiency, and modernizing hospital operations.

Next, the two parties will collaborate to standardize financial management, operations, and service delivery. This is part of Bach Mai Hospital’s plan to enhance its management quality, aiming for higher standards in hospital quality and patient safety.

Third, Techcombank will develop a financial ecosystem serving the hospital, medical staff, patients, and partners. For the hospital, planned solutions include cash flow management, collection and payment services, accounts, and payments. Medical staff will benefit from digital financial utilities and welfare programs, while patients, their families, and suppliers will have more convenient payment methods, reducing administrative procedures during service use.

Finally, the two parties plan to implement communication programs on healthcare, community activities, and social welfare, targeting patients and disadvantaged groups.

This partnership is launched as Bach Mai Hospital implements its "One Bach Mai, two facilities, one quality standard" strategy, aiming to standardize facilities, equipment, expertise, and management. Alongside improving medical examination and treatment capacity, the hospital identifies digital transformation, process standardization, and management modernization as key priorities to enhance service quality and progressively align with international standards for quality and patient safety.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Doctor Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, stated that with over 115 years of establishment and development, the hospital has always prioritized its mission to care for and protect public health. In this new development phase, beyond professional capacity, the hospital is focusing on management innovation, process standardization, digital transformation, and improving patient experience.

"We expect both parties to leverage their strengths to implement practical solutions, from digitizing payment processes, financial management, and cash flow, to solutions serving patients and medical staff", the hospital director emphasized.
