In many major cities worldwide, rivers are often central to the formation of high-end residential areas and architectural landmarks. In Da Nang, the Han river holds a similar position, serving as both a scenic feature and a strategic development axis for the city. In recent years, the area along the Han river, particularly along Phan Dang Luu street (formerly Hoa Cuong ward, Hai Chau district), has emerged as a new development hub.
The city approved a waterway tourism development plan with a total capital of nearly 10,000 billion VND, aiming to establish a network of piers, tourist spaces, and service infrastructure along the river. This synchronized investment expands urban living spaces and increases the value of the central area.

Against this backdrop, riverside land is increasingly limited, making high-end apartment products connected to the Han river rare. Riverside areas are highly valued for their scenic beauty, rental exploitation potential, and sustainable value retention. Many investors view these as dual assets, offering both residential value and the potential for appreciation with urban development.
Located along the Han river axis, The Meridian (legal name: High-end Apartment and Commercial Service Area of Tuyen Son Residential and Service Project), developed by Landcom Investment Joint Stock Company, is considered a prime example of this trend. Huni Architectes (France) designed the project, which is planned as a mixed-use complex of apartments, commerce, and services, aiming for the integrated living standards of modern cities.

The Meridian's architectural highlight draws inspiration from the image of a "superyacht" facing the sea. Soft curves, open architectural masses, and interior details mimicking first-class yacht cabins create a unique identity for the project. Each apartment is designed to optimize views with panoramic glass systems, allowing residents to watch fireworks directly from their balconies, overlooking the Han river, the sea, and the city center – a scenic advantage difficult to replicate as central riverside land is almost fully occupied.
Beyond design, The Meridian is also developed as an "all-in-one" complex, integrating numerous amenities such as a commercial center, food and shopping area, class A offices, an infinity pool, sky bar, gym, and spa. This model allows residents to live, work, and entertain themselves within the same space, aligning with compact urban trends and modern lifestyles.

The project is currently being implemented with expeditious construction progress. With its prime location, distinctive design, and synchronized utility system, The Meridian is expected to become an architectural highlight along the Han river. It will contribute to shaping the appearance of central Da Nang in a new development phase, where real estate value is linked to the city's landscape, culture, and urbanization rate.
