The program was held on January 25, in coordination with local authorities, FPT University Can Tho campus, and J&T Express. The initiative aimed to support social welfare at the year-end, helping local residents prepare for Tet under better conditions.
The volunteers' presence brought a lively atmosphere to many households in the commune. Their activities ranged from helping decorate homes to visiting and chatting. For the elderly in particular, this attention brought joy and a sense of sharing to their year-end days.

"Having the young ones visit and chat makes the atmosphere in the house much livelier. It feels like children and grandchildren returning home from afar for the year-end", an elderly resident in Luong Tam commune shared. Conversely, these simple moments left a strong impression on the volunteers. "Participating in the program helped me better understand the value of reunion and appreciate moments spent with loved ones", a volunteer stated.

Beyond caring for the residents' spiritual well-being, the "spring of love" program also focused on the future generation through educational promotion activities. At 6 schools in Luong Tam commune, the program awarded 70 scholarships, 20 bicycles, and 40 study gift sets, including school bags, notebooks, and learning supplies, to disadvantaged students.
"We hope these gifts help alleviate initial school year costs and serve as encouragement for students to be more confident in their academic journey", shared Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Head of Student Affairs at FPT University Can Tho campus.
The "spring of love" program was implemented by connecting social resources with local needs. For Luong Tam commune, the program supplemented social welfare resources during Tet, ensuring aid activities reached the right people at the right time. For the collaborating units, this was an opportunity to collectively spread humanitarian values through practical activities.
Commenting on the program's significance, Mr. Doan Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of Luong Tam Commune People's Committee, Can Tho City, shared: "The program not only provided practical support for disadvantaged residents and students during Tet but also contributed to fostering community cohesion."

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Communications Director of J&T Express Vietnam, their participation in the program stemmed from a desire to contribute to local social welfare activities, especially during the year-end period. "We hope to offer additional encouragement so that residents and students have more confidence and peace of mind as they step into the new year, ensuring the sharing from this program extends beyond the moment of giving and continues to spread into daily life", Ms. Phuong added.
