On 11/6, the Da Nang City People's Committee approved the investment policy and investors for two projects. These projects involve the construction and operation of functional area infrastructure at Location 3 and Location 4 within the Da Nang Free Trade Zone (FTZ).
At Location 3 in Hai Van ward, Phuong Trang Investment Joint Stock Company was selected as the investor for a project spanning 500 hectares. The total investment for this project is over 8,119 billion VND.
At Location 4 in Ba Na commune, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company will invest in the Phu My 3 Da Nang FTZ Industrial Park project. This project covers 335 hectares with a total investment of 5,338 billion VND.
The operating period for both projects is a maximum of 70 years from the date of land allocation or lease.

Previously, on 4/6, the city also approved Sai Gon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company to implement a functional area infrastructure project at Location 2. This project covers 75 hectares with a total investment of over 1,568 billion VND, focusing on building logistics systems, warehouses, factories, and international trade support services.
In addition to the new projects, Location 5 of the Free Trade Zone was launched in 8/2025. Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company, part of Sun Group, is the investor for this project, which covers approximately 90 hectares with an estimated total capital of over 808 billion VND.
Currently, the city authorities continue to call for and select investors for the remaining locations, including FTZ 1, FTZ 6, and FTZ 7. Da Nang also has a policy to study expanding this free trade zone southward to create more development space and establish larger functional areas.
The Da Nang Free Trade Zone was established in 6/2025, with a total area of approximately 1,881 hectares, distributed across seven non-contiguous locations. The project includes main functional areas such as manufacturing, logistics, trade - services, digital technology industry, information technology, and innovation.
