Top One Pickleball expands specialized product retail

Top One Pickleball expands specialized equipment retail operations, focusing on consultation services to gain an advantage in a competitive market.

According to a market report from Metric eReport, the pickleball equipment and accessories market experienced significant growth in the first half of 2025. Total revenue on e-commerce platforms exceeded 510 billion VND, an increase compared to the same period last year.

Top One Pickleball stated that, capitalizing on this opportunity, the company developed a specialized product catalog, including: rackets, shoes, apparel, and accessories. It also opened physical stores in areas with a high density of players, while simultaneously developing online channels to reach young, busy customers.

"The synchronized presence of in-store experience and online sales aims to build trust with new customers. In parallel, we invest in expert consultation and practical experience, rather than just selling products", said Mai Trinh Truyen, a representative of Top One Pickleball.

According to the store's representative, most new players lack experience in choosing equipment. "If the advice is unsuitable, players might have a poor experience and find it hard to stick with the sport long-term. Therefore, we focus on guiding and explaining so customers choose the correct product for their needs", Mr. Truyen added.

Furthermore, according to Mai Trinh Truyen, the pickleball product retail market currently features many distributors, both large and small, offering diverse prices and quality. This necessitates stores continuously improving their products and services. Player needs fall into several groups: beginners requiring moderate prices, enthusiasts prioritizing durability and genuine products, and competitive players needing high-performance items.

To meet these diverse customer groups, Top One Pickleball stated it has expanded its product catalog, updated technology, and invested in sourcing, import, and inventory management.

The company also faces competition from e-commerce platforms offering low prices and frequent promotions. "Instead of chasing low prices, we target customers who need genuine products, quality checks, and consultation for choosing rackets, shoes, or accessories based on their skill level. We also develop after-sales services such as warranty, returns, product trials, and technical support", the company representative shared.
