On 9/6, at the Fairmont Hotel in Hanoi, representatives of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for the 2026-2029 period with Vietjet Air and four travel companies: Hanoitourist Corporation, BenThanh Tourist, Vietravel, and Vietrantour. This initiative aims to actualize tourism cooperation and transport connectivity directives agreed upon during high-level talks between Thai and Vietnamese leaders.

These agreements will see TAT and its five partners jointly launch the global communication campaign, "Feel all the feelings - Visit Thailand, feel every Emotion." They will also develop a series of tourism promotion activities to boost Thailand's presence in Vietnam and other international markets.
Specifically, the parties agreed on the following points:
Marketing and tourism promotion: This includes participating in international tourism fairs, organizing roadshows, specialized seminars, business networking, and developing joint communication campaigns to promote Thailand to Vietnamese tourists.
Enhancing air connectivity and stimulating tourism: This involves partnering with Vietjet Air to expand flight routes and improve accessibility to Thai destinations. They will also research and develop promotional programs and combined tourism products tailored to market demand.
Product development: The partners will promote and develop tourism products with growth potential, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), golf, wellness, rail travel, sports, and other high-quality offerings.
Information exchange and market research: This includes increasing data and market trend sharing, and coordinating familiarization trips (FAM Trip, Mega FAM Trip) for travel companies, media agencies, and tourism partners to update them on new Thai products and destinations.
The parties also committed to complying with legal regulations on personal data protection and information security, alongside the principles of transparent, sustainable cooperation in both Thailand and Vietnam.
