In a constantly evolving labor market, recruitment demands from businesses are becoming increasingly stringent. The challenge is no longer just finding "enough people" but identifying "the right people." However, many young individuals, especially Gen Z, still face difficulties in career orientation amidst numerous choices.
Responding to this reality, Upzi, a career selection and job-seeking platform under Navigos Group, decided to participate in Vietnam Young Lions 2026. This involvement allows Upzi to engage with and understand the future workforce. Through this platform, the company hopes to discover potential talents, listen to how Gen Z thinks, chooses careers, and solves real-world problems. These insights will serve as crucial data for Upzi to further refine its products and commit to long-term support for young people.
For Vietnam Young Lions 2026, in the Marketers category, Upzi presented a challenge: to develop a new feature addressing "bottlenecks" in the first job search journey and career orientation. The goal is to assist with job searching and help young people build clear career paths, thereby increasing their engagement with the platform.

Amidst fierce competition among recruitment platforms, Upzi's leadership aims for it to become a familiar destination where Gen Z actively returns daily to seek opportunities and develop themselves.
According to Navigos Group’s Talent Guide 2026 report, Gen Z currently constitutes 23,73% of Vietnam's workforce. This demographic is dynamic, flexible, and quickly adapts to technology. However, due to a lack of clear direction, many young individuals struggle to choose suitable jobs and achieve sustainable development.

Building a young talent ecosystem
Technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence, present challenges for both job seekers and recruiters. Candidates can easily "polish" their CVs, while businesses find it difficult to select the right person and must optimize recruitment and training costs.
Previously, Navigos Group developed a range of recruitment solutions, including VietnamWorks for experienced professionals and Navigos Search for senior personnel. The leadership views Upzi's launch as a step towards completing this ecosystem, aiming for a more comprehensive human resources solution focused on the young workforce.
After six months of operation, Upzi attracted over 120,000 users, primarily students and new entrants to the workforce. A company representative stated, "This figure highlights the significant demand in the young labor market."
Beyond its digital platform, Upzi collaborates with over 30 universities to implement career guidance activities. A notable example is Career Pathfinder 2025, which attracted around 700 young people and 19 businesses from various sectors. These activities provide candidates and recruiters with opportunities for direct interaction, fostering a clearer understanding of each other's needs, unlike previous interactions solely through profiles.
From connection to sustainable development
Upzi strives to build a community of high-quality candidates: young people with strong critical thinking, adaptability, and a progressive mindset. The representative explained, "Participating in Vietnam Young Lions 2026 is also a way for us to understand young people more deeply, thereby partnering effectively and helping businesses find suitable, quality candidates."

Specifically, through data and practical activities, Upzi assesses each candidate's capabilities and potential, increasing accuracy and shortening the recruitment process. Beyond merely "filling positions," the leadership is developing a long-term strategy: helping businesses access candidates who have received orientation, training, and validated skills.
Elaborating on this objective, Hirohide Uchiyama, Marketing Director of Navigos Group, emphasized: "Upzi is designed as a 'career companion' for Vietnamese Gen Z."
