The Boeing 737-8 aircraft was previously received at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok, Thailand) on 23/11. It is part of a batch of 50 aircraft that Thai Vietjet will operate between now and 2028.
According to Vietjet, the inaugural flight of the Boeing 737-8 marks the beginning of a plan to operate 50 new-generation aircraft in Thailand by 2028. This initiative aims to meet increasing travel demand and expand Thai Vietjet’s flight network.
The Boeing 737-8 features improved aerodynamics and new-generation LEAP-1B engines, which are compatible with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This technology helps reduce CO2 emissions by 15-20% and noise by up to 50% according to ICAO standards. Its Boeing Sky Interior design ensures passengers enjoy a comfortable and complete journey.
