Vietjet has received a commendation from the prime minister for its leadership in digital transformation, specifically for implementing electronic identification and biometric authentication solutions in aviation. This initiative significantly advances Project 06, a national program focused on digital transformation. The award was presented at a conference held on 18/12 in Hanoi.
The conference marked one year of the government's action program for Resolution 57-NQ/TW, five years of the comprehensive state administrative reform program, and four years of Project 06. Following directives from the prime minister and in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security and Department C06, Vietjet was among the first enterprises to participate in developing and deploying electronic identification, authentication, and biometric recognition solutions for air passengers. These solutions leverage the VNeID platform from its early stages.

Currently, Vietjet passengers can complete check-in, security checks, and boarding using biometric recognition technology (eKYC) on the national electronic identification platform VNeID and the Vietjet Air application at many airports nationwide. This solution shortens check-in times, reduces direct contact, and enhances both passenger experience and the airline's operational efficiency.
A company representative stated that receiving the prime minister's commendation acknowledges Vietjet's efforts, responsibility, and commitment to implementing major government policies. This contributes to administrative reform, sustainable socio-economic development, and a citizen-centric service approach.

This award recognized the company's ESG strategy and emission reduction initiatives. The accolade honors outstanding enterprises in the transportation sector with long-term sustainable development strategies, practical actions, and positive community contributions according to ESG standards: environmental, social, and governance.
Vietjet pursues a strategy of applying technology across its entire operational chain. The airline consistently optimizes costs, enhances operational efficiency, and diversifies services, offering flexible flight opportunities suitable for various customer segments.
