This announcement came during the annual general meeting of shareholders on 26/4 in TP HCM. In 2025, the airline operated 135 aircraft, with 101 based in Vietnam. It managed 254 routes, serving 28,2 million passengers across more than 153,000 flights.
Consolidated revenue reached 82,093 billion dong, with after-tax profit hitting 2,123 billion dong. This represented an increase of more than 51% from the previous year, surpassing the plan by about 20%. The company also contributed more than 10,500 billion dong to the state budget through direct and indirect means.

Vietjet continues to expand its fleet, placing an order for 100 A321neo aircraft and 50 additional purchase options from Airbus, alongside 20 A330neo wide-body aircraft. This places Vietjet among airlines with substantial aircraft orders worldwide.
For 2026, the airline aims to expand its international network, targeting European and US markets. It also plans to invest in a new fleet, including A321neo, A330neo, and Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The airline is fostering cooperation with partners like Rolls-Royce, CFM International, and Pratt & Whitney. Additionally, Vietjet intends to work with the Vietnam International Financial Center in TP HCM to establish an International Aviation Finance Center.

According to Philipp Rösler, an independent board member and former Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, plans for European expansion were prepared in advance. He noted that the low-cost model, combined with essential services, helps the airline maintain a competitive edge on long-haul routes.
Beyond operational expansion, Vietjet invested in an aircraft maintenance center in Long Thanh and launched self-service ground handling at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat to optimize costs. The Vietjet Aviation Academy also expanded its training programs, reaching more than 162,000 trainees in 2025, a 30% increase from the prior year. Additionally, the airline is enhancing ancillary services and collaborating with financial and technology partners to diversify revenue streams.
During the general meeting, shareholders approved the 30% stock dividend plan and elected two new, experienced board members. Vietjet reiterated its commitment to sustained growth, underpinned by financial discipline and a focus on sustainable development.
Beyond its financial performance, the airline received several accolades, including being named among the top 10 safest low-cost airlines for 2025 and receiving the Global Sustainability Award 2025 from AirlineRatings. Forbes Vietnam also recognized Vietjet as one of the top 50 best-listed companies in Vietnam.

Speaking at the general meeting, Vietjet Chairwoman, Doctor Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, emphasized that the company not only provides passenger transport services but also contributes to economic connectivity and creates development opportunities. Vietjet pursues a long-term vision, spanning several decades, focused on sustainable growth and disciplined operations. "When shareholders place their trust, we commit to delivering value not only through today's results but through a future of sustainable, disciplined growth and numerous opportunities," stated Vietjet Chairwoman, Doctor Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao.
