VietinBank launches V-Family financial solution

VietinBank has introduced V-Family, a "shared group - shared benefits" financial solution on its iPay Mobile app, enabling family members, relatives, and friends to connect financially and enjoy collective advantages.

VietinBank has launched V-Family, a new financial solution designed to foster collective financial management and shared benefits among families, relatives, and friends. Available on the VietinBank iPay Mobile app, V-Family allows members to connect financially and enjoy exclusive perks. Participants can receive premium account numbers valued at up to 30 million VND, preferential savings interest rates, loan interest rate reductions of up to 0,2% per year, and lifetime annual fee waivers for debit and credit cards, as part of the bank's program.

Creating a V-Family group is simple: users can do so directly on the app, send invitations to loved ones via phone numbers, and personalize their group with custom names and images. The system automatically aggregates the financial value of all members to determine the group's tier, subsequently suggesting tailored benefits for everyone.

A VietinBank representative stated that this model aims to address the common need for shared financial management among families, relatives, and friends. It also encourages members to utilize services within the bank's integrated digital ecosystem.

Customers have praised the new solution for its convenience. Tue Minh from Hanoi noted that managing finances separately made tracking shared plans cumbersome. With V-Family, her family can now connect on a single app to monitor group benefits. "I especially like that the whole family can enjoy benefits together and track the group's tier upgrade process," Minh shared.

Tuan Anh from TP HCM added that connecting relatives and friends on one platform significantly streamlines the use of digital banking services for all members.

VietinBank views the launch of V-Family as a crucial step in expanding its digital banking ecosystem. This initiative reflects a strategic shift towards developing financial solutions tailored to the needs of specific customer groups, moving beyond a sole focus on individual products.
