The event took place on 1/7, commemorating 50 years since Saigon - Gia Dinh city was named after President Ho Chi Minh. These three projects are crucial for promoting comprehensive, sustainable economic development in the city, while expanding sea-oriented development for the southern key economic region.

The Can Gio - Vung Tau sea-crossing road marks the first direct transport link between the two localities, reducing travel time to about 10 minutes. The project promises to open new development opportunities for the marine economy, tourism, and logistics services across the entire region.
The project spans approximately 14,06 km, starting at Can Thanh - Long Hoa boulevard within the Vinhomes Green Paradise megacity and ending at 30 Thang 4 street in Vung Tau. The road is designed with 6 lanes, a design speed of 80 km/h, and an estimated total investment of over 93.000 ty dong. The project includes over 8 km of sea-crossing bridges and 3,85 km of sea tunnels, creating Vietnam's longest and most modern sea-crossing transport system.

Architecturally, the tunnel entrances at both ends of the bridge resemble two giant lotus blossoms emerging from the ocean. These will host eco-rest stops with charging stations, parking, food courts, and modern landscapes. The group expects the project to be operational three years after land handover and groundbreaking conditions are met. Once completed, the road will become an iconic maritime infrastructure for TP HCM and a tourist destination attracting international visitors.
Tran Van Anh, Deputy General Director of Vingroup Group, stated that the Can Gio - Vung Tau sea-crossing road is a special-grade transport project with complex technical requirements. According to her, the project holds strategic significance for the long-term development of TP HCM and the southeastern region. "The synergy between this road and the Vinhomes Green Paradise urban area will form a modern coastal urban center, creating a new growth pole for the city", Van Anh said.

In addition to the sea-crossing project, Vingroup is implementing two important interchanges connecting the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway. The first interchange connects the expressway with Rung Sac road (Can Gio), and the second connects the expressway with National Highway 50. The EPC general contractor consortium, with the participation of SGC Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - a member of the Vingroup ecosystem, is directly responsible for constructing these components.
Once operational, the projects will complete the connectivity network along the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway corridor. This is expected to enhance inter-regional traffic flow, significantly reducing travel time from neighboring provinces to Can Gio and the southern part of the city.
SGC Company stated that it is mobilizing personnel, experienced engineers, and specialized machinery to ensure progress. The unit is committed to close cooperation with consortium partners to maintain high standards of quality and safety. SGC aims to bring the interchanges into operation soon to create momentum for socio-economic development in the region.
According to Vingroup, the group's ecosystem participating in the investment and construction of strategic transport infrastructure projects in TP HCM demonstrates the company's commitment to collaborating with the State to build a modern infrastructure system, contributing to enhancing national competitiveness.
