Ban Mai focuses on controlling from raw material regions to meals

Ban Mai company enhances quality inspection and raw material traceability to ensure food safety and nutrition for school meals.

According to a representative from Ban Mai Trading and Services Co., Ltd., parents are increasingly concerned about food origin and supply chain transparency, alongside meal nutrition. This places higher demands on school meal providers to ensure quality from the initial raw material selection stage.

Founded in 2013, Ban Mai operates in the school and industrial meal sector, currently serving tens of thousands of meals daily to numerous schools in Hanoi. A company representative stated that school meal quality begins with the selection, assessment, and control of input raw materials, not solely during processing.

Ban Mai has established a quality management process spanning the entire supply chain. This includes supplier evaluation, source document verification, raw material reception, storage, preliminary processing, cooking, and serving. "Each link in the supply chain plays a crucial role in creating safe and nutritious meals for students", a company representative shared. "Controlling quality from the source allows the company to build long-term trust from parents and schools."

To realize this strategy, Ban Mai regularly conducts field surveys in raw material regions. These visits allow the company to directly understand production processes, assess partner capabilities, and strengthen supply chain connections. This approach also helps the company refine its quality control standards and enhance traceability for raw materials used in school meals.

Beyond improving service quality, Ban Mai actively engages in community activities. The company supports various social welfare programs, including charity kitchens, serving people during the Covid-19 pandemic, and assisting with disaster relief efforts. Ban Mai also provides meals to personnel on duty at major national events, such as the 80th National Day celebration and the 14th National Congress of the Party. A company representative stated that social responsibility is an integral part of their long-term development, alongside sustainable growth.

With over 13 years in the school meal sector, Ban Mai believes that trust from parents and schools is built on transparency, responsibility, and end-to-end quality control, not solely on meal nutrition. This remains the company's ongoing commitment: to provide safe and reliable meals in educational environments.
