Vingroup's board of directors has approved an investment to establish VinDynamics, a humanoid robot research, development, and application company. The company has a charter capital of 500 billion VND, with Vingroup holding a 51% stake, equivalent to 252 billion VND.
VinDynamics' primary business focus is the research, development, production, and technology transfer in the field of humanoid robot manufacturing.
Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's conglomerate has previously established two other companies in the robotics field: VinRobotics and VinMotion. Vingroup holds a 51% stake in both of these companies.
At the "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition earlier last month, Vingroup showcased several robots produced by its subsidiaries. These robots are capable of walking, interacting, and conversing naturally with people.

Vingroup's three main business pillars were previously real estate, technology-industry, and social philanthropy. However, since the beginning of the year, they have been focusing on developing two new areas: infrastructure and energy.
In the first half of the year, Pham Nhat Vuong's conglomerate achieved 130,475 billion VND in revenue, double that of last year. Profit after tax reached 4,539 billion VND. According to Vingroup, the improved business results stem from residential real estate, industry, tourism-resort, and entertainment.
Real estate sales still accounted for the largest proportion, nearly 70,500 billion VND, a 167% increase. This figure was recorded when Vinhomes, a subsidiary specializing in residential and urban area development and management, achieved sales of 67,500 billion VND and revenue of approximately 138,200 billion VND at the end of Quarter II.
Revenue from manufacturing reached nearly 33,000 billion VND in the first half of the year, a 134% increase compared to the same period last year, primarily from VinFast. In Quarter II alone, the electric vehicle manufacturer delivered 72,167 vehicles, 3.2 times higher than the same period last year. VinFast's second factory in the Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ha Tinh) also commenced operations, with a capacity of 200,000 vehicles per year.
