Recently, VPBank welcomed the first group of Master of Business Administration (MBA) students from Harvard Business School to Vietnam as part of the Field Global Capstone course, a mandatory component of the school's graduate program.
Over 10 weeks of remote work and 1 week of on-site research in Vietnam, the student group explored business operations and proposed solutions for several practical challenges at VPBank.

Before arriving in Vietnam, the student group collaborated online with VPBank's leadership for several months to define the project scope, exchange data, and outline research directions. During their time in TP HCM, the students conducted consumer surveys, presented ideas, and offered recommendations to the bank's board of directors. The research focused on product and service development and enhancing customer experience.
A representative from Harvard Business School stated that VPBank was chosen as a partner in Vietnam due to its practical business environment, particularly in customer growth, product innovation, digital transformation, and improving user experience within the banking and finance industry.
Phung Duy Khuong, Executive Vice President of VPBank, said the bank highly values the practical and innovative proposals from the Harvard MBA student group.
"We believe VPBank offers an environment where students can observe, learn, and challenge their management thinking within a rapidly developing market context," Khuong said.

The Field Global Capstone is a practical training program designed to help students develop management, operational, and decision-making skills in an international business environment. VPBank is one of 156 partners in this year's Field Global Capstone program. The program is implemented in 14 cities across 14 countries, involving over 900 Harvard Business School students.
Professor Joe Fuller, academic lead of the project, stated that practical learning experiences like the Field Global Capstone require collaboration from partner businesses in various countries. He commended VPBank's coordination in helping students access a real business environment and believes both students and the bank can gain value from this partnership.
