150 high school graduation exam scores increase after review in Khanh Hoa

150 literature exam scores increased by 0.25-0.75 points after re-grading, the highest number announced this year.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training announced on 11/8 that 148 scores increased by 0.25, two by 0.5, and one by 0.75 points.

The number of altered scores represents over 43% of the 346 requests for review in the province. Affected students will receive new grade certificates.

Since 2020, this is the largest number of score changes after review for a single subject in one location.

According to the Department, scores for multiple-choice exams remained unchanged.

Nearly 25,000 students in Khanh Hoa took the high school graduation exam this year. The province's graduation rate reached 97.7%, with an average score of 5.9 across all exams. Over 90% of students scored 5 or higher in literature.

On the morning of 13/8, the re-grading results of a student in Lao Cai surprised many. The student's biology score jumped from 1.1 to 8.75 due to an error in marking the exam code. This is the largest score discrepancy reported this year after a review.
