Programs geared towards international certifications and taught in English have higher tuition fees. Among the 20 universities surveyed, the highest fee is 57.33 million VND at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the admissions plan, common subject combinations for auditing programs are A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), or D07 (math, chemistry, English). Last year, the benchmark scores for these programs ranged from 14 to 27.79 based on the high school graduation exam scores. Popular universities like the National Economics University, Academy of Finance, and Banking Academy had the highest benchmarks.

The auditing program typically lasts 3.5 to 4 years. The curriculum includes foundational courses in economics, finance, and accounting, as well as specialized courses in auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and IT auditing.

Graduates can work at auditing firms, businesses, banks, or government agencies. According to TopCV's 2025 recruitment trend report, the average salary for auditors is around 17.5 million VND per month. Entry-level salaries for recent graduates typically range from 7 to 14 million VND.
