Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy sets admission floors

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has established three admission floor tiers, ranging from 17 to 20.5, a decrease of 2 points compared to last year.

The highest admission floor, 20.5, is set for medicine and odonto-stomatology. Traditional medicine and pharmacy share the second-highest floor at 19. All other programs require a minimum score of 17.

These floors align with the Ministry of Education and Training's quality assurance thresholds for healthcare programs announced on 22/7.

This year, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy aims to enroll over 2,300 students through various methods: direct admission, high school graduation exam scores, V-SAT university entrance exam scores, contract-based admission, and international student admission.

Last year, the university's standard admission scores ranged from 19.2 to 25.7, with medicine having the highest requirement.

The university uses the following formula to convert V-SAT scores to high school graduation exam scores for determining admission thresholds and standard scores:
