Dai hoc Cong doan launches artificial intelligence major, converts IELTS from 5.0

In 2026, Dai hoc Cong doan is opening seven new majors, including artificial intelligence, utilizing 22 admission combinations and converting IELTS scores from 5.0.

The university anticipates enrolling 2,989 students, an increase of over 250 from last year. New programs include: international business, financial technology, auditing, digital economics, project management, economic law, psychology, and artificial intelligence, all offered as standard programs.

Beyond existing combinations, this year the university will also consider applications using blocks X05 (mathematics, physics, economic and legal education), X26 (mathematics, English, informatics), and X71 (literature, history, informatics).

The five admission methods are: direct admission and priority admission, admission based on 2026 high school graduation exam scores, a combination of academic transcripts and graduation exam scores, admission based on the competency assessment exam scores from Dai hoc Su pham Ha Noi, and admission by special order.

For the admission method based on 2026 high school graduation exam scores, candidates with an IELTS certificate of 5.0 or equivalent will have their score converted to 8 points.

Admission combinations for Dai hoc Cong doan in 2026

For the 2026-2027 academic year, Dai hoc Cong doan's tuition fees for standard programs are projected to be 20.85-25.85 million VND, an increase of up to 5 million VND compared to last year. For the International Professional Orientation Program (IPOP), annual tuition is 32 million VND, marking a 2 million VND increase.

Last year, the university's cut-off scores ranged from 18.2 to 27.2 out of 30, with mass media having the highest score. For the English language and business administration majors under the IPOP system, English scores were weighted by a factor of two, resulting in cut-off scores of 24.97 and 22.55 out of 30, respectively.
