The high school graduation exam took place on 26-27/6 with 1.14 million students under the new program. Students were required to take two compulsory subjects: literature and math, and two elective subjects chosen from chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economics and law, computer science, technology (agriculture, industry), and foreign languages (7 languages).
With the math and English exams considered difficult, after the exam concluded, many teachers predicted that the admission scores for combinations including both of these subjects, such as D01, would decrease by about 1.5-2 points compared to last year.

Students with questions about their scores can submit a request for review from 16/7 to 25/7. Those who want to enter university will register their aspirations on the Ministry's system between 16/7 and 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments.
To see the fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years by major and university, students can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page. The system also suggests groups of majors and universities that had benchmark scores close to the scores achieved by students in each combination last year.
University benchmark scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
Last year, English was a compulsory subject, so the total number of students with scores in the D01 combination was over 902,000. The average score for this combination was 19.49, with a median of 19.6.
