The Economics and Law Education subject is gaining significant traction, with nearly 285,000 candidates opting for it in this year's High School Graduation Exam. This marks an increase of almost 32,700 candidates compared to last year, highlighting its growing importance for both graduation and university admissions.
This subject is one of nine optional choices, alongside Foreign Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Informatics, and Technology. Candidates are allotted 50 minutes to complete the exam.
Last year, Economics and Law Education recorded an impressive average score of 7.69, ranking second among all subjects, just behind Agricultural Technology (7.72). Over 1,450 candidates achieved a perfect score of 10, and no candidates scored zero, indicating a strong performance across the board.
Beyond its role in graduation assessment, many universities are now incorporating Economics and Law Education into their admission criteria, further boosting its appeal among students. This integration provides candidates with more pathways for higher education.
Candidates will receive their graduation exam scores on 1/7. Following this, they will have five days to appeal their exam results. University admission applications and adjustments can be made from 2/7 until 5 PM on 14/7. The final university admission results will be released after 5 PM on 9/8.
