The school announced the results on the evening of 23/6. Principal Nguyen Huyen Trang stated that this year, the school offered two admission pathways: academic record assessment combined with the PSA comprehensive aptitude test, and academic record assessment combined with an interview. The maximum score for both pathways was 120.
The admission score for the first pathway was 99, with 132 students admitted. This score is a combined calculation of the 5th grade academic record and the PSA test score.
The academic record contributes a maximum of 20 points, with students earning 4 points for achieving "Excellent" in a school year, 3 points for "Good", and 1 point for "Satisfactory". The PSA test has a maximum score of 100.
For the second pathway, the admission score was 86.3/100, with 10 students admitted. This group includes three international students and seven students who achieved first prizes or gold medals in art competitions (piano, drawing), chess, or Go. All admitted students were required to complete elementary school with at least a "Good" standing.
Admitted students will enroll from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on 25/6.
