FPT Biz Talent, a national startup competition hosted by FPT University, is open to high school and university students. It provides a platform for participants to apply creative thinking, solve real-world business and innovation challenges, and connect with experts, businesses, and the startup community.
Now in its 4th season, the competition has expanded to two divisions. Division A is for university, college, vocational school, and academy students. Division B is for high school students. Participants develop startup plans that integrate technology into business models across various sectors, including education, healthcare, agriculture, and industry.
In the final round, themed "Take Off," the top 5 teams from each division presented their projects and products to a panel of judges. During 15-minute presentations and 10-minute Q&A sessions, teams demonstrated the feasibility and commercial potential of their projects.
AIthenos, representing a joint team from FPTU and NEU, won first place with their AI-powered education project. They received a 50 million VND cash prize and a trip to Singapore.

AIthenos was inspired by the personal experience of Vu Trung Quan, an FPTU Hanoi student and the project's founder, who sought to help his younger brother overcome learning difficulties. Quan and two fellow FPTU students, along with a student from NEU, developed the AI-powered app to personalize learning paths for students.
AIthenos pinpoints individual knowledge gaps and creates customized learning programs tailored to each student's strengths and weaknesses. Unlike online platforms that offer generic lectures, AIthenos provides a flexible and personalized learning experience.

AIthenos incorporates motivational elements such as games, interactive questions, and smart reminders to keep students engaged. The combination of personalization and engagement gives the project strong competitive advantages and the potential for long-term student support. After nearly a year of testing, the app has generated nearly 985 million VND in revenue and received positive feedback from parents and students.
Other teams in Division A also made their mark in the final round. NTVP (BTEC FPT International College Ho Chi Minh City) took second place, while DIMO - 3Dimension Motion (FPTU Ho Chi Minh City) secured third. Honorable mentions were awarded to GreenTech UNETI (University of Industry and Technology) and Lezon (a joint team from FPTU, FPT Arena Multimedia, and the University of Economics - Da Nang University).

According to Pham Tuyet Hanh Ha, Head of Student Affairs at FPTU and Head of the Organizing Committee, this year's competition attracted over 600 teams from 133 universities, colleges, and high schools nationwide. This demonstrates the growing interest in startups and innovation among schools, teachers, parents, and especially students.
"FPT Biz Talent connects young people, provides expert support throughout the competition, and fosters the entrepreneurial spirit. In 10-20 years, these young faces could be leading economic and technological corporations. We have faith in them," she said.
Throughout the competition, the organizers held workshops to equip participants with startup knowledge and skills. The top 10 finalists received personalized mentoring to refine their business plans before presenting to the judges. A pre-final networking event allowed teams to connect and build relationships for future projects.
