Hanoi Architectural University sets minimum admission score at 22

The minimum admission score based on the high school graduation exam results for Hanoi Architectural University is 16-22, with some majors decreasing by 1 point compared to last year.

Hanoi Architectural University announced on the afternoon of 21/7 that this minimum score includes any bonus points for region or special circumstances. This is the minimum requirement for candidates to apply to the university and is the total score of the subjects in the chosen combination.

Five majors have a minimum score of 22: Architecture; Regional and Urban Planning; Urban Design; Landscape Architecture; and the Advanced Program in Architecture. The remaining majors have minimum scores of 16, 17, and 18, mostly 1 point lower than last year.

University tuition fees - University benchmark score forecast

In 2025, Hanoi Architectural University will admit 3,200 students through 4 methods: High school graduation exam scores; academic records; a combination of high school graduation exam scores and aptitude tests; direct admission and prioritized admission.

Eight subject combinations are accepted for aptitude-based admissions: V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts Drawing); V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts Drawing); V02 (Math, English, Fine Arts Drawing); H00 (Literature, Fine Arts Sketching, Color Composition); H02 (Math, Fine Arts Sketching, Color Composition); A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); C01 (Math, Literature, Physics); and D01 (Math, Literature, English).

For other majors, the university retains the traditional A00 combination and adds new combinations to suit new programs, including C02 (Math, Literature, Chemistry), THM (Math, Literature, Technology), and THM2 (Math, Literature, Computer Science).

In 2024, the benchmark score based on high school graduation exam results for Hanoi Architectural University ranged from 21.15-24.73/30, with the highest in Information Technology.

Currently, candidates can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. Afterward, they can pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Candidates can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to see the fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years by major and university. The system also suggests groups of majors and universities that had benchmark scores close to the candidates' scores in each subject combination last year.

The 2025 university benchmark scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
