The university also announced minimum graduation exam scores ranging from 18 to 21 for its 62 undergraduate programs.
Four programs have a minimum entry requirement of 21: information technology, mechatronics engineering, control and automation engineering, and logistics and supply chain management. Compared to last year, the minimum scores for these programs have decreased by 1 to 2 points.
The remaining programs are divided into two groups with minimum scores of 18 or 20; the 19-point minimum from last year has been removed.
HaUI's minimum scores across 62 programs
This year, HaUI is admitting 7,990 students through five methods: direct admission; consideration of international certificates or excellent student awards combined with three-year academic records; high school graduation exam scores; HSA scores from Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and TSA scores from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, combined with academic records.
HaUI's tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year average 24.6 million VND. The actual amount depends on the number of credits a student registers for, at a price of 500,000 VND per credit.
Admission methods, combinations, and quotas for each program
This year, as required by the Ministry of Education and Training, universities using multiple admission methods and combinations must provide equivalent score conversions.
Students can register and adjust their applications an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. They can access VnExpress's university search page to view admission information such as combinations, tuition fees, and fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years for each program and university. The system also suggests programs and universities that had benchmark scores close to the student's achieved score in each combination last year.
Application fee payment will be online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8. Universities will announce their benchmark scores before 5 PM on 22/8.
