Hanoi University of Public Health announces admission scores

The Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH) has set its minimum admission scores between 15 and 17, mostly lower than last year, with the biggest drop of 2.5 points.

On 23/7, HUPH announced its minimum entry requirements for various admission methods. These scores represent the total points from subject combinations and any priority points (if applicable).

For high school graduation exam results, there are three minimum score levels: 15, 16, and 17. The lowest scores are for Public Health and Data Science, while the highest are for Medical Laboratory Technology and Rehabilitation.

Academic transcript evaluation is used for 4 majors: Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, and Data Science, with minimum scores ranging from 16.61 to 17.79.

Applicants using Hanoi National University's High School Assessment (HSA) results for Data Science need a minimum score of 70/150.

Last year, HUPH's minimum scores ranged from 16 to 19.5 for the high school graduation exam. This year, the largest decrease is 2.5 points for Medical Laboratory Technology and Rehabilitation.

Conversion rules for admission scores between different methods:

Where:

- y = score from the original method (high school graduation exam)

- x = score from the method needing conversion

- a = starting score of the range for the method needing conversion

- b = ending score of the range for the method needing conversion

- c = starting score of the corresponding range for the original method

- d = ending score of the corresponding range for the original method

Scores include priority points.

In 2025, HUPH will admit 910 students, an increase of 125 from last year, across 6 majors using 5 admission methods: pre-university transfer, direct admission, high school graduation exam scores (for all majors), Hanoi National University's HSA scores (for Data Science only), and academic transcripts (for Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, and Data Science).

The university is using 18 subject combinations, double the number from last year. Some new combinations include: B03 (Math, Biology, Literature), C02 (Math, Literature, Chemistry), D14 (Literature, Geography, English), D15 (Literature, History, English), and D20 (Literature, Geography, Civic Education).

HUPH's tuition is expected to range from over 18 million VND to over 34 million VND per year, depending on the major.

Last year, HUPH's admission scores ranged from 16.1 to 22.95 based on high school graduation exam results. Rehabilitation had the highest score at 22.95, while Data Science had the lowest at 17.5.

Based on the conversion table and minimum scores, applicants can register and adjust their choices until 5 PM on 28/7. Online application fees can be submitted from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8. Universities will announce admission scores before 5 PM on 22/8.
