Tuition fees for over 100 universities in 2025 - University admission score predictions

On the afternoon of 22/7, HCMUE announced its minimum entry requirements for various admission methods.

For admission based on the 2025 high school graduation exam, education programs require scores from 19 to 24, similar to last year. The minimum scores for chemistry, history, and geography education have increased by one point, from 23 to 24.

Other programs require scores between 18 and 22. At the Gia Lai and Long An campuses, the university's minimum requirement is between 17 and 23.

For admission based on academic transcripts combined with specialized aptitude assessment scores, applicants must have a combined score of 17 to 21 for education programs. Other programs require scores from 17 to 20.

The combined score for this method is calculated as follows: (0.5 x main subject score + 0.25 x subject 1 score + 0.25 x subject 2 score) x 3 + Priority points. The main subject uses the specialized aptitude assessment score, while the other two subjects use the average high school transcript score over three years.

For physical education, preschool education, and national defense – security education programs, applicants use their math or literature aptitude assessment score combined with their talent assessment score, using the following formula:

Admission score = Aptitude assessment score + Talent subject 1 score + Talent subject 2 score + Priority points

Combined admission includes: Aptitude assessment and academic transcripts; High school graduation exam scores and talent assessment; Aptitude assessment and talent assessment.

Last year, the standard admission scores based on high school graduation exam results for HCMUE ranged from 18.7 to 28.6, with history and literature education programs having the highest requirements.

Currently, prospective students can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. Afterward, they can pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Students can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to see the fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years for each program and university. The system also suggests program groups and universities that had benchmark scores close to the students' scores in each subject combination last year.
