HCMUE sets highest admission score at 29.38

The chemistry education program at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) has the highest admission score at 29.38.

University admission scores for 2025 have been released.

On 23/8, HCMUE announced its official admission scores for 2025 after adjustments.

Education programs continue to have the highest admission thresholds, mostly remaining stable or slightly increasing by about 1 point compared to last year. Chemistry education and Vietnamese literature education programs have admission scores above 29.

At the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the French language program has the lowest admission score at 19.

For admissions based on a combination of HCMUE's competency assessment scores and high school transcripts, the admission scores range from 17.13 to 28.16.

Admission scores for HCMUE's Gia Lai and Vinh Long campuses:

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system by 5 PM on 30/8. Failure to do so will be considered a refusal of admission.

HCMUE is admitting nearly 5,200 students this year through various methods: direct admission; priority admission; specialized high school student admission; high school graduation exam scores; and combined admission.

Combined admission methods include: competency assessment and high school transcript scores; high school graduation exam scores and aptitude test scores; and competency assessment and aptitude test scores.
