The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced on 28/7 that Ngo Gia Tu, Nguyen Van Tang, Da Phuoc, Phong Phu, and Trung Lap high schools will offer the most additional spots, ranging from 169 to 262 students each. These schools are located in suburban and outlying areas, with the lowest first-round admission score in the city at 10.5.
Several top-tier schools will also offer additional places, but with fewer spots (around 15-80 students). These include Tran Dai Nghia, Nguyen Thuong Hien, Phu Nhuan, and Le Quy Don high schools.
Eligible applicants must not have been accepted in previous admission rounds and must have a minimum total admission score equal to the first-round admission score of their chosen school. Students can only select one school, submit their score reports at the school from July 30th to August 4th, and cannot change their selection. Results will be announced on August 8th.
