The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the exam scores and benchmarks for specialized 10th-grade admissions for the 2025-2026 academic year on the morning of 23/6. The details are as follows:

This is the total score of three exams: math, literature, and foreign language (coefficient of 1) plus the specialized/integrated subject exam score (coefficient of 2). Candidates must complete all exams, not violate regulations, and not receive a failing grade (below 2).
Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment by 25/6. Otherwise, they will be transferred to the general admissions process. The standard benchmark will be announced on 26/6.
10th-grade entrance exam score lookup
In the 10th-grade entrance exam earlier this month, more than 5,600 candidates registered for the two specialized high schools, Le Hong Phong and Tran Dai Nghia. This is the lowest number of applicants in the past 4 years. Compared to last year, the number of candidates for specialized 10th-grade decreased by nearly 2,700.
As a result, the competition rate for the two schools decreased. At Le Hong Phong Specialized High School, it went from 1 in 5.5 last year to 1 in 4.9, and at Tran Dai Nghia Specialized High School, it went from 1 in 4.1 to 1 in 3.5, respectively.
