Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy sets admission floors from 17 to 22

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has set its admission floor scores, ranging from 17 to 22, a decrease of two points compared to last year, based on the high school graduation exam results.

As announced by the university on the morning of 23/7, medicine and odontology have the highest floor scores – 22. Traditional medicine and pharmacy both require a minimum of 19 points, while all other programs require 17.

This is the total score of three subjects in the admission combination, including priority points (excluding bonus points).

The admission floor scores for Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2025 are as follows:

This year, the university will admit 2,576 students through various methods: direct admission; high school graduation exam scores; a combination of high school graduation exam scores and international certificates; and a university preparatory program. A week ago, the university announced a list of 13 students admitted directly.

Tuition fees at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the 2025 intake are expected to be 30-87 million VND per year, depending on the program.

Last year, the standard admission scores based on the high school graduation exam at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy ranged from 21.45 to 27.8. Medicine had the highest admission score.

Currently, candidates can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. Afterward, they can pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Candidates can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to view the fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years by program and university. The system also suggests groups of programs and universities whose benchmark scores last year were close to the candidates' scores in each subject combination.

University benchmark scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
