Hoa Sen University sets admission floor scores from 15 to 17

Hoa Sen University (HSU)'s admission floor scores are between 15 and 17, a decrease of 1 to 3 points compared to last year, based on the high school graduation exam results.

The score distribution for the five exam blocks used for university admissions provides a basis for predicting the benchmark scores for university admissions in 2025.

On 17/6, Hoa Sen University announced the minimum scores required for application consideration across various admission methods.

For the 2025 high school graduation exam, the university will accept applications with scores from 15 to 17. For academic transcript-based applications, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 18, calculated based on the average of either three or six semesters, or the combined score of three subjects from three semesters.

The minimum scores for the competency assessment tests of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University are 600/1,200 and 67/150, respectively.

The floor scores for each program at Hoa Sen University in 2025 are as follows:

This year, the university plans to enroll approximately 3,000 students across 31 programs. Tuition fees for the 2025 intake at Hoa Sen University range from 28 to 45 million VND per year for regular programs.

Last year, the benchmark scores based on the high school graduation exam results ranged from 15 to 19, with the highest being for the sports economics program.

The Ministry of Education and Training announced the high school graduation exam scores for approximately 1.16 million students on July 16. Students can register, adjust, and supplement their university application preferences starting today, with no limit on the number of changes, until 5 PM on 28/7. They can then submit application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

University benchmark scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.

Students can visit VnExpress's University Search page to view benchmark score fluctuations over the years by program and university, as well as next year's tuition fees. The system also suggests programs and universities that had benchmark scores close to the students' scores in each subject combination last year.
