Hue University sets minimum entry scores

Thirteen schools and faculties under Hue University have set minimum entry scores ranging from 15 to 24, based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results.

These are the total scores of three subjects plus any bonus points, without multiplication factors. Candidates must achieve these minimum scores to apply to the faculties and schools.

The electrical and electronics engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology has the highest minimum score of 24. Most other schools and faculties have a common minimum score of 15, with some programs requiring 16 to 18.

The University of Education and some programs at the University of Foreign Languages have set their minimum entry score at 18-19, following regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training for teacher training programs. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy requires scores from 17 to 20.5.

Hue University will announce the conversion rules between different admission methods before 5 PM on 23/7.

This year, Hue University is admitting 15,300 students, an increase of over 6,000 compared to last year. Admission methods include: direct admission and priority admission; high school graduation exam scores; academic transcripts; Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment scores; and combined evaluations.

Last year, the standard admission scores based on high school graduation exam results for the 13 schools and faculties ranged from 15 to 28.3, with the History Education program having the highest.

Some schools and faculties under Hue University have announced their tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year as follows:

Currently, candidates can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. They can then pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Candidates can visit VnExpress's University Search page to see the fluctuations in admission scores over the years for each program and university. The system also suggests programs and universities with admission scores close to what candidates achieved in each subject combination last year.
