Informatics is one of 9 elective subjects, making its second appearance in the High School Graduation Examination (THPT), alongside Foreign Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, and Technology. Candidates have 50 minutes to complete the exam.

Last year, the average informatics score was 6,78, with 60 candidates achieving a perfect 10. This year, 7,700 candidates chose informatics, placing it among the subjects with the fewest registered candidates, similar to last year.

Beyond graduation eligibility, many universities this year have included informatics in their admission combinations, particularly for technology and engineering programs.

Candidates will receive their graduation exam scores on 1/7. They will then have 5 days to appeal their scores. University application registration and adjustments can be made from 2/7 until 17h on 14/7. University admission results will be available after 17h on 9/8.
