This year's high school graduation exam took place on 26/6 and 27/6, with over 1.16 million students, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to last year. Of these, nearly 1.14 million students took the exam under the new general education program (2018) and over 26,700 followed the old program (2006).

Students under the old program took exams in literature, math, foreign language, and one of two subjects: natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) or social sciences (history, geography, civic education).

Literature was the first exam for this group and also the only essay-based exam. Last year, the score distribution for this subject was relatively high compared to other subjects. The average score was 7.23. The most frequent score achieved by students was 8. Two students achieved a perfect 10.

This afternoon, all students will take the math exam. Tomorrow, students following the old program will take the natural sciences and social sciences exams. Students under the new program will take two elective subjects (foreign language, chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economic and legal education, computer science, technology).

The 2025 high school graduation exam scores will be announced on 16/7. Students will begin registering and adjusting their university application preferences from 16/7 to 28/7.
