Minimum entry scores announced for Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City member universities have set minimum entry scores ranging from 15 to 24, with the lowest scores found in international partnership programs at the International University.

Compared to last year, the minimum scores for most programs have decreased. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, International University, and University of Economics and Law saw widespread decreases of 1 to 2 points.

The University of Science saw the most significant drop in minimum scores. Priority technology programs such as Computer Science, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence have a minimum score of 20, a decrease of 4 points compared to last year. Data Science saw the largest drop, from 24 to 18.

The University of Information Technology and An Giang University have set minimum scores of 22 and approximately 16-19 respectively, similar to last year.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) utilizes a multi-criteria admission process, with a minimum score of 50/100.

The minimum entry scores (the minimum required to apply) for the 8 member universities of Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:

This year, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City plans to enroll approximately 24,500 students. The primary admission methods are: direct admission, priority admission as per VNU-HCM regulations; Competency Assessment scores; and 2025 High School Graduation Exam results.

HCMUT uses a combination of high school transcripts, competency assessments, high school graduation exam scores, and other achievements for admissions.

Tuition fees for standard programs range from 16.6 to 70 million VND per year. The lowest fees are for Philosophy, Religion, History, and Geography programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The highest fees are for programs at the University of Health Sciences.

Currently, prospective students can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. Applicants must then submit their application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

University admission scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
