The Mining and Geology University announced on 23/7 that four programs have a floor score of 20: control engineering and automation; robotics engineering; information technology; and urban development and real estate management. Three of the four programs saw a decrease of 0.5 to 2 points compared to last year. Urban development and real estate management increased by 5 points.
The second highest floor score is 19.5 for electrical and electronics engineering technology, a decrease of 0.75 points. The remaining programs have floor scores between 15 and 19.
Last year, the university's floor scores ranged from 15 to 23, based on the combined scores of three high school graduation exam subjects. Compared to this year, the largest decrease is 3 points for mechatronics engineering.

In 2025, the Mining and Geology University plans to enroll 4,129 students through five methods: high school graduation exam results; academic transcripts; international certificates combined with academic portfolio; direct admission; Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment results; and Vietnam National University, Hanoi's competency assessment results.
Tuition is expected to be around 13 million VND per year.
Last year's benchmark scores for the university ranged from 15 to 24.5, with the highest being for control engineering and automation.
Candidates can now register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. They can then pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.
Candidates can visit VnExpress's University Search page to see the changes in benchmark scores over the years by program and university. The system also suggests programs and universities that had benchmark scores close to the candidates' scores in each subject combination last year.
University benchmark scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
