The six traditional subject combinations based on the high school graduation exam scores are: A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), B00 (math, chemistry, biology), C00 (literature, history, geography), D01 (math, literature, English).
According to the ministry, this data serves as a basis for universities to develop conversion tables for equivalent standard scores between different subject combinations. It also provides a reference for students when selecting their university application preferences.
The percentile table is as follows:

Several universities have already released their percentile tables and the point differences between the various subject combinations used for admissions. For example, at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, a score of 27.75 in the D01 combination is equivalent to 30 in A00. Similarly, at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, applicants using the D01 combination receive an additional 0.5 points compared to other combinations.
Students can register and adjust their university application preferences an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. Universities are gradually announcing their minimum entry scores and predicted standard scores. The ministry will announce the minimum scores for teacher training and health science programs early next week.
Students can visit the VnExpress university search page to view admissions information, including subject combinations, tuition fees, and standard score trends over the years for various programs and universities. The system also suggests programs and universities whose standard scores last year were close to the student's current score for each subject combination.
Application fees can be submitted online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8. Universities will announce their standard scores before 5 PM on 22/8.
